How will my contribution help?

Friends of Vale Landscape Heritage Trust make regular contributions to help with our work and every contribution makes a real difference.
Examples of ongoing costs:

£10 –
Will install 2metres of stock-proof fencing.
Will pay for a volunteer’s safety equipment.
Will pay for a stock-proof guard for a new fruit tree.
 
£30 –
Will pay for ten treated fence posts to repair 30metres of fencing.
Will pay for fencing tools for a volunteer to help repair our fences.
Will pay for bird seed for farmland bird supplementary winter feeding.
Will purchase two fruit trees for volunteers to plant.
Will purchase materials for volunteers to build bird boxes.

£50 –
Will purchase and plant a fruit tree including a stock-proof guard.
Will purchase pruning tools for a volunteer to help manage our fruit trees.
 
£75 –
Will pay for promotional leaflets.
Will pay for an hour servicing of our tractor.
Will hire a trailer for transporting our harvester.
Will purchase a Barn Owl box.
£100 –
Will repair and service our chainsaw.
Will pay for native hedging plants to create 50metres of hedge.
Will pay for a month’s fuel for our Land Rover, vital for the management of our volunteers and sites.
 
£150 –
Will purchase and install a steel field gate.
Will pay towards to cutting and collection of local green hay full of wildflower seed or the purchase of seed to enhance our meadows.
 
£250 –
Will tax our Land Rover for twelve months.
Will pay for a basic vegetation survey and report for one of our sites, to inform future management.
Will pay for hedge cutting at our sites.

We are also Very grateful for the continued support of Severn Waste Services.  
Many of our land purchases and projects have been funded by Severn Waste Services through Landfill Communities Fund, supporting the local community.
Management of our sites is also made possible through The Mid Tier Countryside Stewardship Scheme
 managed by the Rural Payments Agency.  We are grateful for their support and advice.
