“Every village has odd bits of old orchard, meadow and ponds that make up the local character. We'd like people to take stock of these, see if the owners are willing to put them into trust or if money can be raised to buy them.
Then we can organise volunteer teams to care for them”.

Many thanks to Severn Waste Services
Many of our projects and land purchases have been made possible by the generous support of Severn Waste Services through the Landfill Communities Fund.
This generous support has made it possible for VLHT to the purchase machinery to manage our reserves and has funded the purchase of meadows and orchards, conserving them for future generations to enjoy.
